Officers

The Madisonville Community Council Officers include five positions: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, and Corresponding Secretary. These positions are elected at the November General Body meeting in odd-numbered years by the Madisonville Community Council membership. Kate Botos

President

Kate comes from a multi-generational family of Madisonville proud community members. She shows her dedication to public service in her current volunteer roles as Madisonville Community Council President,  President of John P Parker’s PTSGEL, ArtsWave's Women’s Leadership Roundtable Steering Committee, and the Welcome House KY Board of Directors. Kate previously served as the Madisonville Community Council President for 4 years navigating multiple development projects and both successful and unsuccessful community benefits agreements.  Kate continues to find new opportunities to build educational programming and services within our community.  From Tuesdays at the Park to Neighborhood Games you can find Kate out amongst her neighbors and community members putting in the work to foster relationships and creating equitable opportunities for all.

Committee Chairs

The chairperson of each standing committee is also a board member of the Madisonville Community Council. There is a total of thirteen committees: Arts, Park & Recreation, Business & Economic Development, Bylaws, Cleanup & Beautification, Communications, Crime Prevention & Safety, Education, History, Housing, Madisonville Cares, Membership, Transportation and the Madisonville Youth Community Council (MYCC). These positions are appointed by the President of the Madisonville Community Council with approval by the Board of Directors. If you are interested in joining a committee please reach out directly to the committee chair. Stephanie is a thirteen year resident of Madisonville, musician, softball coach and mom of three.
 
Her love of the arts is something she is excited to share with the community!

Kerry Devery

Transportation 

Kerry moved to Madisonville in early 2019 after living in several Cincinnati neighborhoods.  He was drawn to this community for it's great public resources and residents. He has a strong passion for active transportation and increasing the urban tree canopy. Coming out of the pandemic, Kerry is excited to help maximize community participation and engagement. He can regularly be seen walking with his fiancé and their two dogs as well as biking throughout the neighborhood.

Youth Community Council

Toni is a 50+ year resident of Madisonville and has spent her life focused on ensuring that our youth are exposed to the wealth of opportunities that the world has to offer. As a nurse and therapist she understands the need for a wholistic approach. She continues to look for committee members that share her passion to grow our Madisonville youth into well rounded productive members of our community.
