At the southwest corner of Madison and Whetsel, a new building containing 104 apartment units and 24,000 square feet of office, retail and restaurant space has been completed. Across the street to the north, the Madison Center has been updated.  In addition to sprucing up, the City’s Braxton Cann Health Center has expanded to add a dental clinic. To the east, Bad Tom Smith Brewing moved into the renovated Bank Building and will be accompanied by Phase II of the project, which is currently under way. Phase II will have 116 apartment units and Phase III will have 90.
