Community Budget Request
Madisonville Opportunities
The City of Cincinnati is undertaking the Community Budget Request (CBR) process (formerly known as the Community Priority Request (CPR) process). CBR is a process in which the City obtains information from Community Councils on projects that are paramount to the preservation and/or revitalization of each neighborhood. The information on communities’ projects is reviewed by appropriate City Departments during their budget preparation to determine if it is feasible to complete in upcoming budget years (i.e. repaving a road would go to the Department of Transportation and Engineering). Potential funding options for the projects are considered and recommendations on projects will be made to the City Council in the proposed FY 2022-2023 budget.

This is the official opportunity for Community Councils to submit up to three priority projects for funding during each biennial budget. Each request is reviewed, vetted, and prioritized by the applicable City department for inclusion in that department's budget request.

Submit your ideas by September 23, 2020. The Madisonville Community Council Board will review all submissions and present their recommendation at the October General Body Community Council Meeting. Once approved by the Madisonville Community Council, the projects will be submitted to the City of Cincinnati by October 23, 2020.
